Serial killer admits murdering three

After being brought to Istanbul’s Cağlayan Court House on June 13, Filiz gave a statement. According to the statement, Filiz killed the son of a major general, Goktug Demirarslan, and his Russian girlfriend Elena Radchikova on Sept. 16, 2013.

I was worried and killed her

After these murders, Filiz had been living in Istanbul’s Tuzla district as Furkan Altin for one-and-a-half years. He was working at a teahouse owned by the family of Fatma Kayikci. Filiz admitted that he killed Kayikci after she said, ‘Good morning Atalay.’ Filiz: “She knew me as Furkan. However, she once yelled at me as ‘Atalay’. I was worried that everyone would learn about my real identity. So I decided to kill her.”
