Oscar Pistorius walks on stumps to display his vulnerability

Oscar Pistorius removed his prosthetic legs and walked around the court on stumps on June 15 to display his vulnerability. Judge said she would hand down sentence on July 6 for murder of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp.
The Olympic runner Pistorius shot Steenkamp on Valentine's Day in 2013. He claimed that he mistook her for a burglar when he fired four times through the door of his bedroom toilet.

Pistorius's lawyer Barry Roux asked Pistorius to take off his prosthetic legs to highlight the sense of vulnerability.
